Chevron invests over 7 billion dollars in Venezuelan oil fields
Oil company Chevron announced a massive investment to develop new oil reserves in Venezuela's Orinoco region. The company plans to significantly increase production through an investment of over 7 billion dollars, with the goal of reaching 600,000 barrels per day. The subsidiary Petroindependencia, in which Chevron holds a 49% stake, will carry out the investments.
