Child allowance expanded: 17,000 more families benefit
President Nikos Christodoulides announced a significant expansion of child allowance with increased benefits and higher income limits. Approximately 17,000 additional families and more than 23,000 children will newly be eligible for the allowance. Income criteria will be raised for all families.
