Children's Rights Commissioner warns against political exploitation of children
Cyprus' Children's Rights Commissioner Elena Pericleous expressed concerns on Monday regarding the use of children for political purposes. The concern was prompted by a video from EU Member of Parliament Fidias Panayiotou in which children are called upon to participate in a demonstration against high energy prices organized by him.
