China conducted a test of a long-range intercontinental missile with a simulated nuclear warhead in the Pacific Ocean on Monday. This was the first test launch of this type from Beijing in two years. The missile test was conducted from a Chinese nuclear submarine and sent a mock warhead into the Pacific. The action was criticized by New Zealand, Australia, and Japan.
