China helps Cuba with solar energy against energy crisis
Cuba is using Chinese solar technology to stabilize its energy supply and mitigate the effects of the US oil embargo. China has already provided photovoltaic installations with a capacity of one gigawatt and signaled further support. The Cuban government is thus attempting to close energy supply gaps created by the economic blockade.
