China opens longest motorway with 50 lanes
The Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Motorway (Jinggang'ao) with a total length of 2,272 kilometers is one of the world's largest and most heavily trafficked expressways. In major cities such as Wuhan and Shenzhen, daily traffic volume exceeds 50,000 vehicles, while the highway is equipped with up to 50 lanes.
