Chinese E-Commerce Giants Circumvent EU Tariffs Through Expansion
In response to new EU tariffs of 3 euros on micro-packages, Chinese e-commerce platforms such as Temu and Shein are adapting their strategies. Rather than ignoring tariffs, they are relocating warehouses and inventory into the EU and changing postal codes to reduce costs. In Cyprus, state coffers have already collected over 2 million euros through these tariffs.
