Christodoulides: Attempts Made to Keep al-Sharaa from Cyprus Summit
President Christodoulides revealed that there were efforts to prevent Syria's President Ahmad al-Sharaa from attending the informal European Council in Nicosia. Al-Sharaa attended the summit nonetheless, along with Egypt's President El-Sisi, Lebanon's President Aoun, and Jordan's Crown Prince Hussein. The gathering was a significant diplomatic meeting of European and regional leaders.
