Christodoulides: Cyprus will not abandon reunification efforts
President Nikos Christodoulides stated on the occasion of Cyprus's 66th independence anniversary that Cyprus will never abandon efforts to end Turkish occupation and reunify the island. He spoke following the annual military parade for Independence Day in Nicosia and emphasized his confidence in the National Guard as well as his commitment to strengthening the Republic's defense capabilities.
