Christodoulides emphasizes clear UN statements and international engagement
President Nikos Christodoulides stressed that the statements made by UN Secretary-General António Guterres following the Cyprus talks are clear and allow for no different interpretations. At a reception for the Central Council of the Cypriot Diaspora at the Presidential Palace, Christodoulides highlighted that international involvement in the Cyprus issue has intensified. EU Special Envoy for Cyprus Raffaele Fitto is scheduled to visit the island on Friday. Christodoulides told diaspora members: "Strength in unity."
