Christodoulides Emphasizes Importance of Comprehensive EU Defense Planning
President Nikos Christodoulides met with EU Defense Commissioner Andrius Kubilius and emphasized the importance of an integrated defense framework for the EU. Both sides underscored the importance of strengthening the EU's mutual defense clause in accordance with Article 42.7 of the EU Treaty. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the DEFEA 2026 conference in Athens.
