Christodoulides' Proposal on Article 42.7 Accepted by EU Leadership
Cypriot President Christodoulides has successfully presented his proposal for a structured procedure to activate Article 42.7 of the EU treaties to European leadership. The heads of state and government of the informal European Council agreed to the proposal and decided to advance the discussion to the next phase: the drafting of a structured activation procedure.
