Christodoulides Rebukes Charles Michel in Turkey Dispute
President Nikos Christodoulides responded to a social media post by EU Council President Charles Michel in which Michel defended Turkey. Christodoulides reminded Michel that Turkey invaded Cyprus in 1974 and continues to occupy European territory. The president criticized Michel's double standards in assessing Turkey.
