Civil defense on highest alert for wildfires
Civil defense is on full alert to support firefighting efforts, as spokesman Panayiotis Liasides stated. The force conducts daily, continuous patrols in every district and maintains constant contact with the General Coordinator for Major Fires, Fire Director Nikos Longinos, and other relevant services. Additionally, drones are being deployed for support.
