Civil protection warns of extreme weather events
The Cypriot civil protection authority announced security measures against severe storms. The Meteorological Department warns of isolated severe thunderstorms that could be accompanied by hail, strong winds, and tornadoes. The phenomena will initially affect the western half of the island.
