Civil society calls on CyBC to review Israel's Eurovision participation
Nine Cypriot civil society organizations have written an open letter to broadcaster CyBC demanding a formal review of Israel's participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. They are invoking the same standard that the European Broadcasting Union applied when excluding Russia in 2022. The letter was signed on April 5 by organizations including BDS Cyprus.
