Coastal erosion threatens promenade in Oroklini
The waterfront promenade in Oroklini near Larnaca is increasingly being destroyed by coastal erosion and presents a serious hazard. Parts of the promenade have already collapsed, particularly in the outdoor fitness studio area, and the area already cordoned off by the municipality is tilting increasingly steeply toward the sea. The affected area is densely populated with hotels, restaurants, and residential buildings.
