Cocaine Contamination Affects Salmon Migration in the Wild
An international research team has found that cocaine contamination in natural waters impairs the movement behavior of Atlantic salmon. The study provides the first field evidence that drug contaminants can affect fish behavior outside of laboratory conditions. The results were published in the journal Current Biology.
