Colombia Approves Killing of Hippopotamuses from Escobar's Legacy
Colombia has approved the euthanasia of approximately 80 hippopotamuses descended from deceased drug baron Pablo Escobar that have spread uncontrollably throughout the country. The wild animals pose a growing threat to villagers after more expensive control methods such as sterilization have failed.
