Commemoration Events for Tylliria Battles on August 9
The Cypriot community commemorates Turkish atrocities in Tylliria from 1964 on August 9. Annual commemoration and honor events take place as usual with Pachyammos at the center of activities. The national funeral ceremony for the fallen is held during this memorial day.
