Comprehensive reform of disability benefits with 106 million euro funding
Cyprus has implemented a significant legal reform for social participation and independent living for people with disabilities. The reform increases all monthly benefits, gradually expands the circle of beneficiaries, and introduces 11 new social benefits as well as eight services to support independent living. Existing benefit recipients retain all their previous benefit entitlements.
