Concerns About Development in Polis Campsite Upgrade
Modernization work has begun on the long-neglected beach campsite in Polis, but concerns are emerging about uncontrolled concrete construction as seen in other coastal areas of Cyprus. The Polis region and surrounding villages feel excluded from the lucrative mass tourism and fear that the renovation could lead to further overdevelopment.
