Confidence-Building Football Match Held in Nicosia
A bicommunal friendly football match took place in Nicosia between amateur players of the Turkish-Cypriot club Yenikent Percinci and the Greek-Cypriot club Apollon Yeri. The EU supported the match as a confidence-building initiative to promote cohesion between communities.
