Conflict in Culture Ministry Over Intimidation Allegations
Giorgos Papageorgiou, general director of the Cultural Affairs Subministry, categorically rejected allegations of intimidation and aggression and led a one-hour work stoppage by staff. He claimed his measures should be understood as strict oversight rather than intimidation. The union PASYDE had previously filed a complaint regarding the working atmosphere.
