Conflicts of Interest: Missing Laws, Arbitrary Interpretation
The article analyzes the lack of regulation of conflicts of interest in Cyprus and criticizes the proposals from Koumou and Konstantinidis pending since 2015. The current debate over "Mafia state" and "Videogate" repeatedly demonstrates how unclear and fragmented the legal framework in this area is.
