Conservation groups warn against ELAM motion against wildlife protection cooperation
The conservation organization Committee Against Bird Slaughter (CABS) calls on the Parliamentary Environmental Committee to reject a motion by the far-right ELAM party demanding an "assessment of impacts" of environmental organizations. CABS warns that restrictions on cooperation between NGOs, police, and authorities would endanger wildlife protection and anti-poaching measures, and appeals to lawmakers not to be misled by disinformation.
