Constitutional Court Proceedings on Cost-of-Living Allowance in North Cyprus
The chairman of the TAM party, Serdar Denktaş, demands that the president should refer the cost-of-living allowance ordinance to the Constitutional Court. The unions announced they would bring the ordinances that came into effect today before the Constitutional Court, which provide for payment of the cost-of-living allowance in April and a salary freeze until January 2027.
