Constitutional court: Taxation of judges' pensions ruled unconstitutional
The Supreme Constitutional Court has declared the law taxing pension payments to judges unconstitutional. The court bases this on the grounds that the constitution does not allow for changes to judges' rights after their appointment in order to protect their independence.
