Construction Accidents in Cyprus on the Rise - Industry Remains High-Risk
Although Cyprus's overall accident rate has declined by 55.3 percent from 2017 to 2025, the construction industry presents a concerning picture. The construction sector recorded a 3.9 percent increase in accidents in 2025 compared to 2024 and remains one of the country's most dangerous industries, accounting for 18 percent of all workplace accidents.
