Construction site collapse in New York: Panic in Manhattan
An emergency occurred in Manhattan when parts of a 38-story high-rise under construction collapsed. Workers had to be evacuated immediately and police cordoned off several streets. Authorities ordered precautionary evacuation of eight neighboring buildings and a school. Bricks fell onto the streets.
