Consumer Association Accuses Gas Stations of Pocketing Profits
The Cypriot consumer association has leveled serious accusations against several gas stations for allegedly failing to pass on the full tax relief on fuel to customers. According to the association, the tax relief decided by the cabinet was not fully transferred to consumers, but was partially retained unjustifiably by the gas stations. The association accuses the industry of benefiting from the reduction in consumption tax without passing this on to end customers.
