Consumer Association Demands Tax Reduction for Heating Oil as Well
The Cypriot consumer association criticizes the unequal treatment of heating oil consumers following the decision to reduce excise tax only on fuels by 8.3 cents per liter. The measure applies from April 1 to the end of June 2026, but does not include heating oil. The association calls on the Finance Ministry to also include heating oil in the tax reduction.
