Consumers Expect Slightly Declining Inflation and Stable Income Growth
According to a survey by the European Central Bank (ECB) from February 2026, consumers expect a slight decline in inflation in the coming months. The survey, conducted between February 5 and March 3, 2026, also shows expectations regarding income development, spending, economic growth and the housing market. The majority of the data (97 percent) was collected before major geopolitical turbulence.
