Contract Soldiers Can Serve Until Age 57
Defense Minister Vasilis Palmas announced that contract soldiers of the National Guard can now serve until the age of 57. These soldiers receive salaries equivalent to civil service grade A2, which ranged between specified amounts in the previous year. The regulation was presented during a swearing-in ceremony for new contract soldiers.
