Controversy over Drousiotis allegations: authorities should investigate
Government spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis called on all those with information about the allegations made by journalist and Volt candidate Makarios Drousiotis to hand it over to the relevant authorities. Drousiotis had linked public figures and institutions to criminal activities and corruption on social media. Former President Nikos Anastasiades refused to respond to the accusations and called Drousiotis a "serial lying slanderer" while awaiting the results of police investigations.
