Court Dismisses Appeals Against Capital Markets Fines
The appellate court has rejected the appeal by Ευθύμιος Μπουλούτας, former chief executive of Marfin Laiki, and others against administrative fines imposed by the Cypriot capital markets commission. The sanctions from 2014 and 2017 are thus upheld. The ruling concludes a lengthy legal dispute stemming from the period of the former Laiki Bank.
