Court: Iranian Migrant Cannot Be Deported
An Iranian national who had been illegally residing in Cyprus for 19 years cannot be deported to his home country. The Supreme Court ordered his release after he had spent 16 months in detention with no prospect of leaving and the conditions of his imprisonment violated his rights.
