Court of Appeal confirms rejection of EU arrest warrant for tax evasion
The Cypriot Court of Appeal unanimously confirmed on March 26 the rejection of a European Arrest Warrant against a man sought by German authorities. The suspect is accused of tax evasion amounting to almost 2 million euros. The court dismissed the Attorney General's appeal, thereby confirming the first-instance decision of the Limassol District Court.
