Criminal Proceedings Against Doctors Over Forged Medical Certificates
Criminal proceedings have been initiated against a general practitioner and an orthopedic surgeon after the audit authority discovered evidence of collusion between doctors and prison officials in the forgery of medical certificates. The authority forwarded its findings to the Attorney General, and one official has already made statements to investigators and named both doctors. The proceedings investigate the responsibility of both parties in the fraud.
