Cronos Gas Field Reaches Investment Commitment: Natural Gas Expected in 2028
Italian energy company Eni announced the Final Investment Decision (FID) for the development of the Cronos gas field in Cyprus's Exclusive Economic Zone. The project is expected to bring Cyprus's first natural gas to market in 2028 and is regarded as a significant step toward monetizing the country's natural resources with geopolitical implications.
