Culture Budget 2026 Increased by 40% – Decentralization Program Expanded
The Cypriot Ministry of Culture has increased the budget program for cultural decentralization in 2026 by approximately 40% compared to 2025. The program promotes free cultural events in rural communities and has been reformed with new opportunities and expanded recipient groups. The Ministry of Culture's Department of Contemporary Culture has already announced the funding program.
