Culture Ministry: Staff Protests with One-Hour Work Stoppage
Culture Ministry staff conducted a spontaneous one-hour work stoppage to protest repeated attempts by the Director General to place all budget control under his authority. The protest action, in which all employees participated, took place between 9 and 10 a.m. According to the Pasydy union, the proposed changes were being pursued without proper consultation.
