Customs authority seizes 47 cartons of smuggled cigarettes
Customs authorities seized untaxed tobacco products on September 23 at the Agios Dometios border crossing. A vehicle with Turkish Cypriot license plates was stopped and found to contain 47 cartons of cigarettes. The seizure was made as part of routine controls to enforce Green Line regulations.
