Customs seizes smuggled cigarettes, fines exceed 5,000 euros
Customs officers seized quantities of untaxed tobacco between August 23 and 27 at the border crossings Ledra Street and Ayios Dhometios in Nicosia. A total of 5,090 euros in fines were issued. The seizures took place in three separate cases.
