Cypriot Art: International Success and Historical Discoveries
Cypriot artist Melita Kouta was selected for the 2nd Malta Biennale with her work 'Kappakli' - from 3,200 applications from 122 countries. Meanwhile, the CVAR Museum in Nicosia is expanding its collection with five historical paintings about the life of Catherine Cornaro (1454-1510), the last Queen of Cyprus. The Rita and Costa Severi Foundation acquired these works of significant historical and artistic value.
