Cypriot Bar Association: Elections without opposing candidates
The upcoming elections in the Cypriot legal profession are proceeding without genuine competition. Many local council bodies are electing their representatives unopposed, as no opposing candidates are running. In the election for the president of the Cyprus Bar Association, incumbent president Michalis Vorkas also appears set to remain unchallenged. Only in Paphos are regular elections taking place.
