Cypriot beaches suffocating in microplastic pollution
A new study shows that Cyprus's beaches are increasingly contaminated by microplastics, with an average of 337 particles per square meter. Plastic pollution is ubiquitous and found in food, the environment, and even in the human body, representing a significant environmental problem for the island.
