Cypriot Byzantinologist Connects Saint Veneration with Medical History
Cypriot Byzantinologist and university professor Stavroula Konstantinou, an internationally leading expert in hagiology, has launched a research project called "Medieval Hagiography and Healthcare across Media and Performances" (HagioHealth). The project connects the miracles of Saints Anargyri with modern medical history, including the COVID-19 pandemic. The work shows innovative connections between religious tradition and contemporary health issues.
