Cypriot chess player Mikhailina riding high after Candidates Tournament
The Chess Candidates Tournament (March 28 to April 16, 2026) at Cap St Georges Hotel generated significant interest in chess in Cyprus and provided opportunities for children and youth to interact with world-class players. Young Cypriot Olga Mikhailina delivered strong performances and benefited from masterclasses offered during the tournament.
