Cypriot Coast Guard Planned After Greek Model
Cyprus plans to establish a new coast guard following the model of Greek port security (Limeniko Somma). In the first phase, it will be placed under the Justice Ministry, later to be transferred to the Shipping Ministry. The plans were presented to the Parliamentary Control Committee.
